A few weeks ago, Jaidy had two new teeth grow in on the bottom, although the baby one's were still loose. I called the Dentist for some advice, and she needs a cleaning before school starts. We decided to let her lose them on her own, or they would have to give her an injection, and I do not want this milestone of hers coupled with trauma.
Yesterday on the way to Monte & Brenda's 4th of July Barbeque, she pulled out her first tooth. I put it in a plastic bag inside of my purse. I was tired after the 4th of July festivities, and I shirked my tooth fairy duties. Jaidy woke up this morning, and she was highly upset with me that we forgot to put her tooth under her pillow. I slowly snuck out 4 quarters into the plastic bag as I was pulling it out of my purse & I said, "WOW LOOK - The tooth fairy is so smart, she put the money into the bag !!"
"Oh Wow Mommy, I'm not mad at you anymore !" she exclaimed.
All throughout the Kindergarten all of the kids lost their teeth one by one, and she has been patiently waiting for this blessed event. She is really excited that she gets tooth fairy day & she is now working on wiggling out the 2nd tooth. It's tons of fun !!
